This slide was created to promote the new Liv.Able furniture showroom in High Point, N.C. In the “Furniture Capital of the World”, the showroom displays collections of entry to the upper-end segment home furnishings. The 77,000 sq. ft. facility features a modified BASF Coral Stone Rendering on the project. The rendering utilized two textured acrylic finishes to create the look of cut coral. The first application is BASF Finestone Rough Swirl followed by a second application of BASF Finetex finish. Specially engineered scaffolding was created by Southern Wall Systems to accommodate the compound curving at the top of the 30 ft wide x 65-70ft high panels. Additionally, the project was designed with no aesthetic or working joints. The bold design incorporates literal “design flexibility”, as its curved, monolithic walls twist into the soaring sky. The Pebbletex CI-DCA system installed provides the drainage specified, as well as energy efficiency beyond most other claddings. The cut coral rendered finish, produced by Southern Wall Systems, creates a high-end aesthetic that is unrivaled by any furniture showroom in North America.
